Four Poems from Greece by Phoebe Giannisi

Reflection of Four Poems from Greece

Reading Greece: Phoebe Giannisi on the Meeting Point between Poetry, Performance, Representation and the Natural World - Greek News Agenda

Four Poems from Greece express emotions and feelings of memories and loneliness. Also, explain the interception of natural and human worlds. In the first of the four poems, she starts with the theme of memories. Memories are always in our minds, no matter what. Each memory is remembered how we want, but we will have memories of everything we do in life, and it can be the smallest or just a piece of that moment. Also, she talks about losing a person in life, and it is not that hard because people come and go, and life goes on. We must appreciate that moment when we are with that person because we do not know what will happen next. In our lives, we will meet new people every day and learn new things about those people. Life changed, and nothing is for forever.

On the other hand, eyes never lie. When we look at a person directly in their eyes, we will know if that person is happy, sad, or angry. Also, if we know that people know often, we can sometimes know when they lie. We are humans and are not obligated to stay in a bad environment if we do not feel good. I like the way that she expresses the emotions in the poems because they are connected with each other.
