       A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings is a story by Gabriel García. The story takes place in a small town where many people live nearby. In this story, a couple named Pelayo and Elisenda live near the ocean. This couple would have a child, and the child was sick. After a strong storm, they find an old man with enormous wings in the river. The man was in the water trying to get out of the water to stay alive and recover his water-soaked wings. When the townspeople saw the old man with enormous wings, they were very curious because it was something they had never seen. These people thought that the old man with enormous wings was an angel. But the father does not believe that this man was an angel. The old man was sick trying to survive because his wings were very sensitive after the terrible storm he had weathered.

       In conclusion, in this story, we naturally know who we are and how we react when we see things we don't know. Furthermore, we can see how society is cruel to those different from them, which happens in real life. Lastly, we may experience religious feelings when people think the old man with enormous wings is an angel who would care for them.
