                                      Aristotle - Poetics (Excerpts from Aristotle's Poetics)              Reflecting on what I read in Aristotle's Poetics tragedy, it grows through the actions of life and not from people. A well-crafted story must have a beginning, a middle, and an end. Tragedy is the facts, and the endings of the stories are where it is noted how the tragedy ended. Aristotle argues that work is a tragedy only when it arouses pity and fear. Five characteristics have been defined as tragedy: it shows humanity, it evokes, it ends in wonder, and it is intrinsically beautiful.     Pity and fear both of these words refer to a variety of emotions. Aristotle didn't necessarily classify fear and pity as your only emotions because someone can also have feelings toward wonder and beauty. The story's main character is Antigone, who has two brothers, Eteocles and Polyneices. Eteocles and Polyneices fought against Thebes in the war, and both died. Antigone is the sister of these two brothers. She is worried about the decree that King Creon created for Polyneices because Antigone is a person who believes that people who die should be buried. King Creon did not want Polynices to be buried. King Creon was the one who ruled the city of Thebes. Furthermore, King Creon was Antigone's uncle and discovered that Antigone buried Polyneices.
