Reflection of PopolVuh

 PopolVuh by Allen J. Christenson

When I first read the title "PopolVuh," I had no idea what it was about because I had never heard about it. Reading "PopolVuh," I learned how the Earth was created and how god created humans and animals. It is interesting how humans are essential to the Earth. According to "PopolVuh," they wanted to develop strong humans who were not considered weak. All humans have their own abilities and intelligence to do big things on Earth. If we think about everything on Earth right now, such as buildings, houses, and all material things, we humans have created everything. If humans did not exist, the Earth might have been different. I still wonder, how did life come to Earth?.

In conclusion, "PopolVuh" is about community and a book about people. By reading the book, we can learn about the purpose of humans on the earth and the connection of nature with humans. As we read, we can find exciting information about the culture of the Maya how they have different cultures and beliefs.

  1. "It is interesting how humans are essential to the Earth." I never thought about the role of human beings in this way.
